The City of Colton, California is served by a publicly-owned Electric Utility. The Utility was in need of a new branding style that would make them more familiar and friendlier to their residents, as there is often confusion in that marketplace about what company provides power.
To clearly set aside the Utility from their competitors and to build brand familiarity, I devised an illustration style characterized by rounded corners, rich gradients, and clean iconography, and have personally illustrated over 150 individual assets for this client.

This client was a new business designed around creating wellness retreats for women in the Southern California area. They needed a logo design that emphasized freedom, change, femininity, and the spirit of the five women who started the company.
For their retreats, the client also needed event collateral that represented their brand while being clean and inviting.

Re-brand for Acorn Technology Services, a Riverside, CA-based Managed IT company. Acorn had been using an out-of-date brand mark from the late 90’s/early 00’s, and that look & feel was also present on their website. As a tech company in the 21st century, they were in need of a more contemporary and robust brand style.

Trilogy Plumbing needed two banners that would communicate some of their core values and brand focus at a trade show. I designed these two banners, one that could serve the emotive, brand-oriented messaging, and the other that outlined their commitment to a well-equipped and safe workforce.

Reliable Concrete Accessories had been using a very basic illustrated version of their mascot, Reli Able, for various instructional and promotional pieces for a couple years, but they wanted to expand his usability and give him some personality. I expanded on the original illustrations to give Reli Able an expressive face and hands that could interact with various objects to make him usable in many different marketing scenarios.

This client needed a small collateral package that could be taken to local gyms and clinics to advertise their services and schedule appointments. I designed a three-piece system that maintained the Body MetRx brand while being flexible enough to be informative, functional, and modular.

For their inaugural show, the Pasadena Opera put on a production of Bernstein's Candide. The production was using limited set-building, so I designed a series of images that were projected on a screen, or Cyclorama, behind the performers. The production was done in 1960's style costumes, so I borrowed from sources like Mad Men and Breakfast at Tiffany's.
California State University's Theater Opera department put on a production of the operetta La Curandera. I designed a handful of backdrops that essentially served as sets given that the production wasn't building many physical sets pieces. I also illustrated the artwork for the promotional poster.
